Ryan is a South African photographer. His photographic career began at 8 years old when his Father, Iky of Iky’s Photographic, put a camera in his hands at a motocross event and said “start shooting”! One of Ryan’s images from the event was selected for front page media. Since then, he has achieved a degree in conservation and has worked in many African countries in careers such as conservation, hospitality management, construction and professional photography with focus on game reserves and wildlife. Ryan currently operates Pro Photo Safaris and is the CEO and President of WorldPix. Ryan’s photography work supports Hope Jones Foundation, Sibahle Community, Khaya Centre, Centre Marembo, and Gihembe Refugee Camp.
