Khaya Centre Visit 2019
This Friday, Worldpix co-founders Paul and Ryan will meet with the Khaya Centre in South Africa. The Khaya Centre is a non-profit that supports and educates those battling with TB/HIV/AIDS.
Paul and Ryan will be giving a donation to the Khaya Centre and giving them a beautiful Wayne Pinkston print to hang on their wall.
Khaya Centre is making a big difference in South Africa and you can help by buying a print or going on Safari to South Africa. The proceeds from our South African prints, and safaris go to this cause.
After the meeting with Khaya Centre, Paul and Ryan will leave to capture some beautiful landscape and wildlife photographs at Kruger National Park.
Book A Safari to South Africa - Help Khaya Centre
Over a million visitors view the beauty of Kruger National Park yearly. Between the large variety of wildlife and the scenic and natural wilderness of the reserve, Kruger National Park is a must see.
Additionally, Kruger is one of the largest game reserves in Africa, with around 147 different animal species. When you visit, you are sure to see the big five (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Cape Buffalo).
Kruger National Park has an interesting history dating back to 1898 when the president of Transvaal, Paul Kruger, wanted to protect the wildlife in the area between the Sabie and Crocodile Rivers. This area became the Sabie Game Reserve, then later: Kruger National Park.
There are many different places to stay when visiting South Africa on Safari.
When you book a WorldPix South African safari, you get to stay at the best lodge in Kruger National Park, the historic Jock Safari Lodge.
South Africa has been a top place to search for gold over the years and Sir Percy Fitzpatrick was one of many on this particular expedition. The prospectors journeyed through some of Africas most stunning and untouched wilderness, later to place the Jock Safari Lodge right in the middle of this beautiful back country. In 1982 the descendants of Sir Percy Fitzpatrick used trust funds to build the lodge near where Sir Percy Fitzpatrick and his dog lived and as the years have passed, the legend of prospector Sir Percy Fitzpatrick and his dog, Jock, live on at the Jock Safari Lodge. The Jock Safari Lodge has earned the title of the best five star game lodge at Kruger National Park and has some of the best golf, exceptional service, has been recently renovated, and provides you with a close up wildlife encounter right outside the gates.
This luxury accommodation is icing on the cake after our unique safari experience in the African wilderness. Let us know if you would like to be part of this Worldpix journey and we will help you every step of the way.
And remember, the sales from your safari actually help support some amazing African charities. We take you to one of our African charities that we support like the Khaya Centre and the Door of Hope, to name a few. You will see for yourself, the difference we are making together. When you book a Worldpix journey, you are creating more places of beauty in lives across the globe.
Stay tuned for our trip to the Khaya Centre!
