Description: On the night before I needed to leave for almost two months on the road I took the pup to our favorite spot along the river so we both could cool off. When we arrived the elk horn cholla was nearly in full bloom!
When we made it back to the car the clouds began to illuminate with a warm glow, and suddenly a rainbow began to come into view. The stunning yellows and reds of the flowers perfectly complemented the desert that evening.
