Description: Capturing this moment, this storm, this incredible scene…was almost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. That’s what it’s like when you storm-chase…hoping beyond hope to see something amazing. This supercell exploded near Arizona City, AZ, and we got on the west side of it in time to witness a stunning sunset, microburst and haboob. And then we raced west to Stanfield where this photo was taken. A supercell with lovely striations up high, a dust storm riding underneath it and lightning popping every few minutes. It was THE storm of Monsoon 2022!
