Overview
On the border of Zimbabwe they enjoy the Chobe River converging with the mighty Zambezi. Here the Elephant herds come down to the river to take long playful swims around midday.
Geography and Population
Huge numbers of Hippopotamus and Crocodiles also reside here.
Social Problems
As of 2014, Botswana has the third-highest prevalence rate for HIV/AIDS.
Unemployment
A low employment rate in the communities has lead to poverty in some areas with a high prevalence of social issues. Many children find themselves destitute, begging on the streets and abusing substances.
